現実にはあり得ない構造物のオブジェ、仮想の建築物です。ジオラマの手法を用いたアート作品として制作しました。（縮尺 S＝１／150程度を想定・Nスケール）　2016年「大凌雲閣 弐拾四階」（１號棟）、2019年「大凌雲閣 約参拾六階」（２號棟）、2020年「大凌雲閣 参號棟」（No-３）に続き、2021年に４作目と５作目を制作しました。
　
1890年（明治23年）に開業し、大正末期まで東京・浅草の地にシンボルとして君臨した「凌雲閣（りょううんかく）浅草12階」の名称からタイトルを引用させていただいたのは１号棟と同じです。

These are virtual architectural structures—objects that could not exist in the real world. I created them as works of art using the techniques of diorama making. (Approximate scale: S = 1/150, based on N scale.)

Following Dai-Ryunkaku: 24th Floor (Building No. 1), created in 2016, Dai-Ryunkaku: Approximately 36th Floor (Building No. 2), created in 2019, and Dai-Ryunkaku: Building No. 3 (No. 3), created in 2020, I created the fourth and fifth works in 2021.

As with Building No. 1, the title is taken from the name of Ryounkaku “Asakusa 12th Floor”, a landmark tower that opened in 1890 (Meiji 23) and stood as a symbol of Tokyo’s Asakusa district until the end of the Taisho period.

• ACアダプターを電源としました。　建物内部の電球色LED用に１系統（５Vアダプター・4.0A・記号B）、外部ライトアップ（白色LED 他） 用に１系統（５Vアダプター・2.0A・記号C）、それに加え、台枠外周部にはテープLED（耐久性が高いとされる高演色2835）を使用（12V・2.5AのACアダプター＋調光機・記号A）
  　
  以上の計３系統のACアダプター容量は、計算上必要とされるアンペア数の約1.4倍を目安に選択。
  　
  12V テープLEDは販売店のマニュアルに沿った配線と取付けを行い、建物本体（内部＋外部）のLEDは、１つ１つに CRD（E-153）と560Ω抵抗 をハンダ付けし、LEDの寿命に配慮しています。（建物 内外部のLEDは全て並列接続）

• An AC adapter was used as the power supply. One circuit was provided for the warm-white LEDs inside the building (5 V adapter, 4.0 A, designation B), and another for the external illumination, including white LEDs (5 V adapter, 2.0 A, designation C). In addition, LED tape was installed around the perimeter of the base frame. High-color-rendering 2835 LED tape, known for its durability, was used (12 V, 1.5A AC adapter with a dimmer, designation A).
  　
  The capacities of the three AC adapters listed above were selected to provide approximately 1.4 times the amperage required by calculation.
  　
  The 12 V LED tape was wired and installed in accordance with the retailer’s manual. For the LEDs used in and around the building itself, a CRD (E-153) and a 560 Ω resistor were soldered to each individual LED in consideration of LED longevity. All LEDs used inside and outside the building are connected in parallel.
